Black River Falls Man Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison

A Black River Falls man has been sentenced for charged sexual assault of a child and incest in Jackson County Court last week.According to court records, the victim stated they were sexually assaulted by Stanley Ross Wise Jr. beginning when they were 12 and continuing until the end of April of 2018. The victim stated that the assaults increased over time. After a trial, the jury found Wise guilty of two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child. Another charge was dismissed on the prosecutor’s motion.
Wise has been sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by 10 years of extended supervision. He also owes $4,833.04 in restitution and he must register as a sex offender.
