Local FFA Proficiency Award Finalists

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The National FFA Organization has announced that 13 Wisconsin students will compete as Proficiency Award finalists at this year's national convention.Some local winning students include Dara Stichert of Marshfield in Equine Science and Tyler Gardner of Pittsville in Forest Management & Products. Another 11 Wisconsin students had their award applications rated gold, with 12 placing at the silver level and two rated as bronze.
Meanwhile, many chapters will be honored during the convention. Local programs being recognized as Three-Star Rated Chapters include Granton and Stanley-Boyd. The National FFA Convention will be held fall in Indianapolis, Indiana.
