Major Boost to Rural Telecom Companies in Wisconsin for Broadband Expansion

(WRN) -A group of rural telecom companies in Wisconsin will be getting a major boost to expanding broadband thanks to the FCC.The rural companies will be getting 163 million dollars over the next ten years to expand services to rural communities and bring them up to broadband speeds.
Over 21 thousand homes and businesses will be affected by the upgrades.
