Marshfield Fire Department Responds to Business Fire

-The Marshfield Fire Department responded to a fire at a Marshfield company early Tuesday morning.Around 12:30am, the department received a call of a fire in the wood collection system at Masonite. When the department arrived, they found smoke coming from the system. All employees had evacuated. The department was able to extinguish the flames around two hours after they received the call.
There were no injuries on their part and the facility was turned back over to the company around 4:30am. The department received assistance from the Spencer Fire Department and Ambulance Service and the Hewitt Area Volunteer Fire Department.
