-One of three people charged with arson for allegedly starting a fire at a Marshfield mobile home park was sentenced in Wood County Court.According to court records, Tracy Hoover owned the mobile home where the fire took place, and had asked two others to set the fire. Hoover was apparently being evicted from the park, and court records say the manager told police Hoover said she’d rather burn the house down than allow the park to get it. Police say Taylor Dickman and Eric Foth started the fire in a bedroom with matches. Police say Foth admitted to starting the fire with Dickman, and the two claimed Hoover told them to start it. According to court documents, Hoover was attempting to get insurance money for the loss of her belongings and the mobile home.
Foth was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, negligent handling of burning material and criminal damage to property. He was sentenced to 2 years of probation with a condition of 60 days jail time.
