National Institutes of Health's All of Us Journey Exhibit At The Marshfield YMCA Today

Today, the National Institutes of Health’s All of Us Journey, a mobile research exhibit traveling the country to promote the All of Us Research Program, will be at the All of Us Summer Celebration at the Marshfield YMCA from 12 - 4 p.m.This event is sponsored by Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, Marshfield Clinic Health System YMCA, Marshfield Children’s Hospital, and the Family Health Center of Marshfield. The All of Us Journey is an interactive mobile unit that has toured more than 100 cities in 35 states for almost two years. It helps to spread the word about the All of Us Research Program, a historic effort to gather health data from one million or more people living in the United States to accelerate biomedical research. The Journey’s goal is to encourage participation in All of Us, and to educate the community on the many benefits of precision medicine. Since the launch of the program nationwide in May 2018, more than 225,000 people have enrolled.
By enrolling one million or more participants, All of Us will have the scale and scope to enable a wide variety of research. This research program will help facilitate medical studies that could lead to new medical breakthroughs ??" improving health care for all of us, not just some of us.
