Friends of the Black River Looking For Volunteers

The Friends of the Black River is looking for volunteers to help with its annual river cleanup next Saturday, Aug. 24.Volunteers are asked to meet at 8 a.m. at Al Young Park at the south end of First Street in Black River Falls to be assigned a section of the river. Volunteers may paddle the river or walk along the shore to collect trash. FBR will provide a complementary lunch to volunteers at noon at Al Young Park.
