Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Expects Accommodations will be Made for Paralyzed Lawmaker

(WRN) -Assembly Speaker Robin Vos expects accommodations will be made to a paralyzed lawmaker.Fitchburg Democrat Jimmy Anderson is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair. He's asked to be able to phone in to meetings he can't make because of his disability. Speaker Robin Vos tells WISN Radio in Milwaukee that he's sure at the end of the day, they'll make accommodations, but didn't get specific.
Calling into meetings is against Assembly rules, although the Senate allows it. Republican Vos has accused Anderson and Democrats of political grandstanding.
