Granton School Board Approves Items in Preparation of the Next School Year

-The Granton School Board approved a long list of items in preparation of the next school year at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the plans to renovate the greenhouse by adding an exterior door, adding a misting system and updating the heating system. The board also approved the Food Service pricing for the 2019-20 school year and approved the Alternative and Part Time Open Enrollment applications for the next school year. The board also approved the Athletic Code for the next school year, approved the Second Reading of Student Use of Communication Devices Policy 10AB, approved the Second Reading of School Attendance Policy 10J approved the Second Reading of Early College Credit Program Policy 10JA, which was formerly the Youth Options policy and approved the Chapter 1 Board Policies.
The board also approved the Maintenance Director/Lead Custodian contract for Robby Roehl, approved the teacher & aid contract for Deanna Elmhorst, approved the resignation of Andy Radloff as the Girls’ Basketball Assistant Coach, approved the resignation of Randy Jennings as the Boys’ Basketball Head Coach, approved the resignation of Kayla Johnson as a Childcare worker, approved the Childcare worker appointment for Jessica Wilson, approved the resignation of Tricia Hausauer as a Bus Driver and approved the Bus Driver appointment for Stina Jansen.
