Osseo Man Enters Plea for Drug Charges in Trempealeau County Court

-One of two people arrested for possession in the City of Osseo after the execution of a search warrant entered a plea in Trempealeau County Court on Wednesday.According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, they executed a search warrant at home in Osseo. The home was occupied by James Guntner and Kiera Whitman as well as a young child. A search of the residence found over 3 grams of heroin, marijuana, drug packaging material and other items. It was determined that the two were selling drug out of their home, which is 500 feet from school grounds. The child was removed from the home.
During his plea hearing on Monday, Guntner was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, manufacture/deliver of heroin and maintaining a drug trafficking place. Three other charges were dismissed and read in.
