(WRN) -Wildlife officials say it's too soon to know the impact of a large waste spill in western Wisconsin.A malfunctioning pump at a Jackson County frac sand mine spewed about 400-thousand gallons of mine waste into a tributary of the Trempealeau River on August 2nd and 3rd.
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources officials say they don't know what the spill will mean for the Trempealeau River. Test results are expected in a few weeks.
