City of Neillsville Will Need to Wait a Little While Longer for a New Chief of Police

-The City of Neillsville is going to have to wait a little while longer for a new Chief of Police.The City of Neillsville has been searching for a new Police Chief since Scott Klueckmann’s resignation on March 8th. He took a position with the Clark County Sheriff’s Department. Chief Klueckmann had worked for the department for 28 years and had been the chief since 2014. Since then, Investigator Patrick Felhman has been filling in as the Interim Chief of Police for Neillsville.
On July 15th, the Neillsville Police and Fire Commission approved offering the job to Mark Rohloff, who was going to be sworn in this morning. However, an employee with city hall stated that the ceremony was cancelled as Rohloff had taken a different position.
