Man Arrested in Black River Falls for Drug Charges Sentenced in Jackson County Court

-A man arrested after the execution of a search warrant at a home in Black River Falls was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Thursday.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, the search warrant was executed on October 11th of last year. Officers found meth, drug paraphernalia and $6,500 in the home. An investigation by the department indicated the people in the home were trafficking drugs. Four people were arrested including Patricia Couillard, Carrie Couillard, Christopher Koplin, and Dylan Koplin all of Black River Falls.
Dylan Koplin was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, maintaining a drug trafficking place. Several other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 4 years of probation. Christopher Koplin is scheduled to be back in court on August 15th. Both Patricia and Carrie Couillard have been sentenced for the incident to one year and three years of probation respectively.
