Neillsville School Board Approves Meal Price Increase

-The Neillsville School Board approved an increase in meal prices for the next school year.The board approved a $.5 cent increase across the board. Neillsville residents will now pay $1.30 for Elementary breakfast, $2.45 for Elementary lunch, $1.30 for Middle/High School breakfast, $2.65 for Middle/High School lunch, $1.65 for an adult to eat breakfast and $3.30 for an adult to eat lunch. The last time the district increase their meal prices was in 2016 and that was because the state was requiring them to do so. This increase will help the district pay for $53,000 in kitchen upgrades. The board also approved some employment matters. The board approved the resignation of Ashley Gunderman from her elementary teaching position, Sara Rosewicz from her art teaching position and Scott Schiller from his elementary principal position.
The board approved the hiring of Tricia Hausauer for a bus driving position, Jennifer Lindner for an elementary teaching position, Elizabeth Heath for an elementary teaching position, Missy Stockheimer for a head softball coaching position and Adam Kren for a JV golf coaching position.
