The Clark County Health Department and Several Others to Provide Educational Series about Nitrates in Drinking Water

Saturday, June 29th, 2019 -- 9:11 AM

The Clark County Health Department is partnering with UW-Extension, Clark County Land Conservation and Clark County Planning and Zoning to provide an exciting educational series about nitrates in drinking water.

Please join them at the Loyal City Hall on Wednesday July 10th or the Clark County Fairgrounds on Wednesday July 24th from 7 pm to 9 pm for their Well Water Safety Event. Free nitrate testing and $17 Homeowner’s well water test kits will be available for you to pick up at the events. These kits will help you understand the quality of your well water. All are welcome to attend and participate in the Well Water Safety Events.

They hope to see you at the Loyal City Hall on Wednesday July 10th or at the Clark County Fairgrounds on Wednesday July 24th at 7pm for Nitrates: what are they, where do they come from, and what can you do to reduce your exposure?” Please contact Kevin Smith of Public Health at (715) 743-5112 with any questions.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
