-A Stanley man accused of biting off a portion of a man’s ear in a bar fight was sentenced in Eau Claire County Court on Thursday.According to authorities, the incident occurred at Boondocks Bar on Highway G. They say Shaun Ciokiewicz and another man got into an argument over a vehicle and began to fight in the bar, but were pulled away by bar patrons. When the man went to leave, Ciokiewicz threw an object at the man’s truck. When the man got out of the vehicle to check if there was damage, Ciokiewicz struck the man from behind and hit him several times after he fell. He then felt excruciating pain in his right ear. The man had to have stitches in his ear.
Earlier this month, a plea deal was reached and Ciokiewicz pleaded guilty to a charge of felony bail jumping. Another charge was dismissed and read in and two other charges were dismissed out right. He was sentenced to 12 months of probation with a condition of 90 days jail time.
