Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 -- 12:40 PM
-Rascal is this week's pet of the week from the Clark County Humane Society made possible by Badger Animal Clinic.Name: Rascal
Breed: Cat-Domestic Short Hair, Buff Tabby
Age: 3 months old
Rascal is a sweetheart! He had been found as a stray in the Greenwood area. The family that found him wanted to keep him, but their older cat just wasn't having it. So, now he's at CCHS looking for a new family. Rascal is as sweet as they come. He loves to play and snuggle too. He's living in Kitty City at the Shelter, so he gets along great with everybody he meets. He just needs that new family to love forever.
You can learn more about, and adopt, Rascal, and all the animals at the shelter, at their website, cchs-petshelter.org. You can also apply for adoption in person.
CCHS has a special adoption promotion going on now call "Red, White & Woo Hoo!" Through July 15th, they have a select group of dogs that are part of the promotion. It's basically the dogs that have been with them the longest that most need to find a new home. Their adoption fee is waived with a donation of 50# or more of Purina Puppy Chow. If no food donation, their adoption fee is $50. Regular adoption policies still apply and there may be some exceptions. Their pictures are on CCHS's Facebook page and each has a special sign on their kennel at the shelter.
