(WRN) -The CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation will be leaving the job.WisPolitics reports that Mark Hogan confirmed his plans at the Milwaukee Rotary Club on Tuesday, without providing a specific departure date. A WEDC spokesman said Hogan's plan dating back to former Governor Scott Walker's time in office was to leave sometime in the fall of 2019.
A bill Republicans approved in the lame-duck session stripped Governor Tony Evers of the power to appoint the WEDC leader until September.
