Updates on Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville's New Facility

-Ryan Neville, Chief Administrative Officer of Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville, has provided some updates on the new Neillsville facility.They are excited for the official groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for August 19th. The new campus design includes 16 inpatient rooms, 4 post-surgical recovery beds, 2 surgical suites with expanding services in radiology, rehabilitation services and a multi-specialty clinic consisting of 29 exam rooms. As planned, Sniteman’s Pharmacy and the Art of Optometry will lease space in the new hospital. The project is expected to be completed at the end of 2020. Their capital campaign will focus on seeking donations for the construction of a community wellness center and an expanded infusion center within the specialty clinic to include the capability for chemotherapy services. Dr. Amy Schneider has been nominated and accepted the role of Chief of Staff of Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville. The services at Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville are in-network with all Security Health Plan products. This expanded coverage can save travel time to Marshfield, especially with routine services like labs, radiology and rehabilitation.
Marshfield Clinic Cardiologist Dr. Girotra started an outreach practice in Neillsville. Marshfield Medical Cetner-Neillsville has welcomed new medical staff as well. Jan Drinsigner NP and Kristina McGivern NP will be supporting Dr. Cruz and Dr. Schneider with their hospital services and Jordyn Pieper, PA will join the outpatient clinic staff. Marshfield Medical Center-Neillsville will be working with city officials and governing committees regarding the expansion of the sanitary sewer line to the new campus. The facility is not seeking any financial support for the expansion.
