Neillsville School Board Approves Several Items

-The Neillsville School Board approved several items in preparation for the next school year at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the Staff Handbook updates for the next school year. They also approved the WASB, Association for Equity in Funding, Wisconsin Rural School Alliance and WIAA memberships for the next school year. The cost for the WASB membership is $3,589, the AEF and WIRSA cost is $500 and there was no cost for the WIAA membership. The board also approved setting a temporary Fund 10 expense budge of $11,057,689 for the beginning of next school year, so they can continue to pay their bills until they receive state aid. The board also approved allowing the district administrator make investments for the next school. The board approved Citizens State Bank, Unity Bank, BMO Harris Bank, Associated Bank and Simplicity Credit Union as the official depositories for the next school year.
The board also approved the donation of school supplies from Shopko and they approved the Capstone Project for Tom and Diane Kren for the next school year. Also, before the regular School Board Meeting, the board did meet for an Expulsion Hearing. The expulsion for the student if effective until their 21st birthday and there are various terms they must follow.
