Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Distributes Different Aids to Local Districts

-The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction distributed funding to schools today from numerous programs, totaling $1.8 billion, with an additional $144 million distributed during the week prior.Among the payments are the first from a new state program supporting mental health services in schools. Some local school districts that will receive aid for the various programs include the Black River Falls School District for Mental Health Programs and the Colby School District for High Cost Pupil Transportation. Greenwood, Stanley-Boyd, Osseo-Fairchild and Thorp will also receive aid for High Cost Pupil Transportation. Greenwood, Osseo-Fairchild and Marshfield will receive High Cost Special Ed Aid.
Abbotsford, Black River Falls, Colby, Granton, Greenwood, Loyal, Marshfield, Medford, Neillsville, Osseo-Fairchild, Owen-Withee, Spencer, Stanley-Boyd and Thorp will all receive Supplement Special Ed Aid.
