Milladore Couple Pleads Not Guilty to Killing Newborn

-A Milladore couple accused of killing their newborn son just hours after he was born appeared in Wood County Court on Wednesday.22-year-old Marylinn Feher faces charges of first-degree intentional homicide and child neglect causing death. The father, 19-year-old Allen Rice, also also faces child neglect causing death along with a charge of obstructing an officer. Feher is accused of giving birth to a child back in April and then strangling at least twice while banging its head on a toilet. The couple is then accused of putting th baby in a blanket and a plastic bag in the back seat of their vehicle while they drove to Marshfield Medical Center to get medical attention for Feher while the child remained in the vehicle.
During their preliminary hearing on Wednesday, probable cause was found so their court proceedings will continue. Both Feher and Rice pleaded not guilty to the charges against them. They’re scheduled to be back in court on August 22nd.
