USDA Announces May Class III Milk Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The USDA announced that the May Class III milk price was released at $16.38 per hundredweight.That's up 42-cents from April's price, and $1.20 more than May 2018. It's also the highest Class III price since November 2017. So far, the Class III price has averaged $15.05 during 2019. The Class IV component price was 57-cents higher than last month at $16.29, and $1.72 more than last year.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin all milk price for April was $17.90 per cwt., up 60-cents from last month's price and $1.40 more than a year earlier. The U.S. all milk price $17.70 per cwt.
