Black River Falls Woman Sentenced for Possession

-A woman arrested in Black River Falls for possession charges and child neglect was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Monday.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, back in December of 2018, they executed a search warrant at a home at 119 South 3rd Street in Black River Falls. The department was trying to locate evidence regarding a battery incident that was reported during the early morning hours. During the search, they discovered items pertaining to the battery incident, plus a significant amount of drug paraphernalia, drug packaging material and methamphetamine. Brendan Gerber and Kelsey Jensen, both of Black River Falls, were arrested. The police department was assisted by the Ho Chunk Nation Police, Conservation Wardens of the Wisconsin DNR, and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Jensen was found guilty of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC. Three other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to two years of probation. Back in April, Gerber was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of battery and possession of amphetamine. Four other charges were dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 2 years of probation with 60 days of conditional jail time.
