2004: A YEAR OF NASTY WEATHER

Flash floods. Deadly twisters. Rain, rain and more rain. Mother Nature sent loads of harsh weather Wisconsin's way in 2004, one of the worst weather years the state has endured in a decade. And it cost the Dairy State plenty. All told, the weather last year caused about $91.8 million in property damage and $246.6 million in crop damage, according to Wisconsin Emergency Management, the agency that coordinates emergency responses, warnings and disaster assistance requests.Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
