Greenwood Man Sentenced for Sexual Assault of a Child

-A Greenwood man charged with sexual assault was sentenced in Clark County Court on Monday.According to court records, back in 2018, a 12-year-old told a school guidance counselor about the assaults by Roth Schneiter. She stated the assaults began in December of 2016 when she was only 10-years-old. When Schneiter was questioned about it, he admitted the assaults did occur.
During a court appearance in March, Schneiter pleaded guilty to 2nd degree sexual assault of a child. He was sentenced to four years in prison and six years of extended supervision.
