Osseo Man Sentenced for Drug Charges

-An Osseo man arrested for possession and other charges was sentenced in Trempealeau County Court.According to the Osseo Police Department, back in June of 2018, they received a driving complaint. Authorities located the vehicle, driven by Jesse Christen, and they tried to pull him over, but Christen continued to drive around the city. Officers then attempted a high risk traffic stop. Christen then attempted to flee on foot. Christen was eventually taken into custody, but he continued to obstruct and resist officers. A K9 unit located methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
During a recent court appearance, Christen pleaded guilty to two counts of resisting or obstructing an officer. Another charge was dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation and an imposed and stayed sentence of 6 months in jail, meaning if he fails his probation, he’ll serve that time.
