-A Withee woman arrested for selling drugs and storing them in her home with children entered a plea in Clark County Court on Wednesday. In April of 2018, Caleb Quelle and Elizabeth Mollan were arrested after authorities had an informant buy heroin from them on three separate occasions. When police searched the home, they found drugs and paraphernalia hidden in bizarre places like an Easter basket and an M&M’s container. Three children under the age of 10 were living in the home. One of the children, who was still breastfeeding, tested positive for cocaine. During her court appearance on Wednesday, Mollan was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, manufacture/deliver heroin and maintaining a drug trafficking place.
12 other charges were dismissed and read in. A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered and she has a sentencing date scheduled for July 7th. Earlier this year, Quelle was sentenced to 5 years’ probation along with an imposed and stayed prison sentence of 2 years and an imposed and stayed extended supervision of 2 years, meaning if he breaks any conditions of his probation, he’ll serve that time.
