Greenwood School Board Report

The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Elementary Principal Joe Green followed up on the Reading Program presentation. He also provided an update on 4K registration for 2019-2020 and Summer School and Camp Invention. District Administrator Todd Felhofer provided the Board with results of the spring election. Sarah Shaw was re-elected from District 4, Dawn Jacobson received 14 write-in votes and Jo Elmer 4 write-in votes in District 1. Dawn has agreed to serve another term on the school board. The May Board meeting will be the Board reorganizational meeting. He also provided D and F date from quarter 3, which had the fewest Ds and Fs in a 3rd quarter in over 7 years.
Finally, he provided the board on some other future meetings and items of note. He stated the Hollywood Hillbillies performance was excellent, the High School Pops concert is May 13th at 7:00 pm in the Cafetorium, the Middle School Pops concert is May 21st at 7:00 pm in the Cafetorium, the next School Board Meeting is Monday May 6th at 6:30 pm and a Special Board Meeting is, possibly, being held Monday May 13th at 6:30 pm.
