Greenwood School Board Approves Policy Items

-The Greenwood School Board approved some policy items at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the Universal Grant Guidance financial procedures and approved language changes to policy 1130, Conflict of Interest, and policy 7440.01, Video Surveillance and Electronic Monitoring. The board also approved District Hiring Guidelines, approved 2 days of pay for eligible support staff for work days lost to school cancellations and approved Support Staff, Professional Staff and Substitute Teacher Handbooks for 2019-2020.
The board also approved the CTE/YA/ACP Coordinator position as an Extra Duty position, they approved increasing substitute teacher pay for 2019-2020 to $110/day and they approved the 2019-2020 Wages and Salary increases for Support and Professional Staff. The board also heard a report from a board member that stated he and the District Administrator met with the Greenwood Bus Company to discuss bus routes, cancellations and field trips.
