Marshfield Man Enters Plea for Possession of Methamphetamine

-A Marshfield man arrested for trying to smoke meth in a Kwik Trip bathroom entered a plea in Wood County Court on Friday.According to the Marshfield Police Department, at the end of December, an officer noticed John Emond walking through the 200 block of North Central Avenue. The officer new Emond had an outstanding warrant, so he followed Emond to the Kwik Trip on North Central Avenue in Marshfield. The officer found Emond in the bathroom trying to inhale a “crystal-like substance.”
During his court appearance on Friday, Emond pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine. Another charge was dismissed and read in.
