Two People Arrested in Black River Falls After Execution of a Search Warrant Appear in Jackson County Court

-Two of four people arrested after the execution of a search warrant at a home in Black River Falls appeared in Jackson County Court on Monday.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, the search warrant was executed on October 11th of last year. Officers found meth, drug paraphernalia and $6,500 in the home. An investigation by the department indicated the people in the home were trafficking drugs. The four people arrested included Patricia Couillard, Carrie Couillard, Christopher Koplin, and Dylan Koplin all of Black River Falls.
Both Dylan and Christopher Koplin appeared in court on Monday. Dylan Koplin waived his preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s scheduled to be back in court April 24th. Christopher appeared for a status hearing and is scheduled to be back in court April 29th. Both Patricia and Carrie Couillard have been sentenced for the incident to one year and three years of probation respectively.
