Marshfield Man Turns Himself In After High Speed Chase and Crash

-A man that escaped after a high speed chase and rollover crash in Marshfield turned himself into authorities yesterday.According to the Marshfield Police Department, on March 28th, around 9:30pm, officers attempted to stop a vehicle for failing to stop for a red light at Doege St and N Central Ave. Upon initiating the traffic stop, the suspect vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed turning North on N Walnut Ave, failing to stop for an additional stop sign at W Ives St and N Walnut Ave, and failed to stop at the T-intersection at W Upham and N Walnut. The vehicle hit an embankment and crashed, rolling onto its roof.
The Driver fled on foot and the passenger was taken into custody after refusing medical treatment. The passenger was later released with no charges. The driver, 30-year-old Brandon S Shaw, turned himself in to Marshfield Police at 10am on March 29th and was later transported to Wood County Jail. Charges were requested on Shaw through Wood County DA for Felony Eluding an Officer and Misdemeanor Resisting Arrest.
