Mixed Commodity Prices in Wisconsin for February

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The February average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin was $3.46 per bushel.According to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, that was up four-cents from January and 12-cents more than the previous February. Soybeans were down a penny for the month at $8.48 per bushel, and fell 95-cents from the previous year. Oat prices averaged $3.02 per bushel, 22-cents below the January price and four-cents lower than February 2018.
All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $196.00 per ton, up $14.00 from January and $68.00 above last February. The alfalfa hay price averaged $201.00 per ton, $14.00 higher for the month and $63.00 above last year. The other hay price averaged $179.00, up $21.00 from a month earlier and $83.00 higher than in 2018.
