Many Volunteer Opportunities at The Highground

-The Highground has a wide variety of events happening in 2019 and they’re always looking for volunteers to help.There are many different ways you can be involved in these events including volunteering, participating, buying and helping sell raffle tickets, put up event posters in your town, become a porch greeter, donate funds, become a tour guide and much more. Some upcoming events you can volunteer or participate in includes on April 27th, they have the Legacy Stone Placement and Big Bake Sale. Help is needed from 10am-3pm and they need help park cars, greeting visitors, setting up and taking down and helping during the ceremony. Wednesday, May 8th-Saturday, May 11th, they need a lot of help for their Spring Work Week. Join the team of volunteers that keep The Highground a beautiful and healing place to visit for thousands of visitors each year.
Enjoy the camaraderie, make new friends and be served a delicious lunch each day provided by area restaurants, businesses and The Highground’s famous “Sweet Ladies.” On Saturday, May 18th, they need help parking cars, greeting visitors and more for their Helicopter and Military Vehicle Expo and Legacy Stone Placement. They need help from 8am-Noon. There are many other events happening throughout the year. They also need photographers for everyone one of their events.
