Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves Appointments

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a few appointments at their meeting on Tuesday.They approved Nancy Amacher as the Supervisor for District 5, they approved Nancy for the Personnel and Affirmative Action Committee and they approved Butch Trunkel for the Finance Committee. No action was taken on an appointment to the Safety and Security Committee. The board also heard a few reports. They heard the Wage and Comp Study Report, the Administration Compensation Policy Report and the Class and Comp Cost Analysis Report. The board also approved the grant applications for county trail maintenance funding. The county is eligible for $600 per mile of summer trails, $100 per mile for winter trails, $100 per mile for UTV trails and $285 per mile for Troute. Clark County maintains 235.92 miles of state funded trails and is eligible for funding of $69,012.15 for the county trails.
Along with that, the county board approved grant applications for snowmobile trail funding. The county is eligible for $300 per mile of snowmobile trails in the county. The county currently maintains 369.90 miles of state funded snowmobile trails. The county is eligible for $110,970 in trail funding. The board also passed a resolution offering condolences to the family of former board member Steve Amacher who passed away on February 19th.
