Loyal School Board Sees Rube Goldberg Machine in Action

-The Loyal School Board began their meeting on Monday by watching a run through of the Rube Goldberg Machine.A Rube Goldberg Machine is a machine that completes a simple task in as many steps as possible, for example, hitting a nail with a hammer. Loyal was the Regional Championship winner in the Rube Goldberg Competition and they will now be heading to Indiana for the National Championship. They also approved a contract for EO Johnson to scan the district’s old transcripts into a digital format and for them to scan their board policy book so that it is searchable by keyword.
Finally, the board approved their spring athletic coaches, approved an out-of-state trip, hired an art teacher and added a student make-up day. Students will now have school on Monday, April 22nd.
