Owen-Withee School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Owen-Withee School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting last week.Jr/Sr High School Dean of Students Julie Van Ark reported that the Pre-Festival Band and Choir concert was held on Tuesday, March 12th at 7:00 PM. The District Choir Festival will be held in Loyal on Tuesday, March 19th. The Band Festival will be held in Owen on March 25th. She also offered congratulations to Samantha Nelson on being named a recipient of the Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship. Jen Wendler and Marcus Ackerman will represent O-W at the Cloverbelt Conference Scholar/Athlete banquet and Samantha Nelson and MiKayla Vittallo will be the representatives at the conference Scholar Banquet.
The end of the 3rd Quarter has been changed from March 26th to March 29th due to the excessive number of snow days they’ve had in the quarter. The full length play, The Birds, will be performed on April 5th, 6th and 7th. Ms. Arndt and Mr. Engel will escort a group of students on an overnight trip to the Edge Conference in Steven’s Point on March 22nd and 23rd. Finally, Mr. Eichstadt will be escorting 16 students on the NHS trip to Washington DC and New York City March 27th-31st.
