Monster Trucks Returning to the Central Wisconsin State Fair

(WDLB) -Monster trucks are coming back to the Central Wisconsin State Fair in Marshfield.Executive Director Dale Christianson announced yesterday that the same show that came last year will be back again this year??"the All-Star Monster Truck Show. Christianson had booked just one show last year, but the evening show sold out, and with a major demand for tickets, fair officials scrambled to add an afternoon show before Saturday Night’s main event. Shaw’s Salvage Yard donates 14 cars for smashing, and then hauls them away. Tickets for the monster truck show will go on sale soon. In between monster truck shows, Christianson says Red Higgins and the Freedom Train will be back to perform.
Red Higgins and the Freedom Train will perform a two-hour show in the Family Entertainment tent between monster truck shows on Saturday, August 24th. Also coming to this year’s fair is Thistle and Lace, the husband and wife duo of Ashley and Jon McLemore from the Minneapolis area. Thistle and Lace will perform both Friday and Saturday, August 23rd and 24th, also in the Family Entertainment Tent.
