One Person Killed in Black River Falls Crash

-One person was killed in a roll-over crash in Black River Falls.According to the Black River Falls Police Department, around 9pm Friday night they received a call about a single roll-over crash on Highway 54 near Andrews Road. A vehicle was traveling westbound, crossed the median and continued off the roadway before rolling over. Authorities stated there were two people in the vehicle and one of them was pronounced dead at the scene. The other was flown to a local hospital with critical injuries.
Authorities say alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the accident. Both occupants of the vehicle were not wearing a seat belt. The crash is still under investigation and names are not being released at this time. The department is asking that anyone you witnessed the crash to contact them.
