(WRN) -Wisconsin's Senators were split as the Senate voted to reject President Trump's National Emergency Declaration.Senator Tammy Baldwin voted for the bill along with a number of Republicans, and said that the issue was a blatant violation of Article 1 of the Constitution, and that this set a dangerous precedent for future administrations. Senator Ron Johnson voted against the measure, and said that Democrats have voted against strong border security because they do not like the President.
President Trump wants to use his National Emergency declaration to shift funds from military bases to pay for a border wall with Mexico.
