Stanley Man Appears in Eau Claire County Court for Biting Man's Ear in Bar Fight

-A Stanley man accused of biting off a portion of a man’s ear in a bar fight appeared in Eau Claire County Court on Tuesday.According to authorities, the incident occurred at Boondocks Bar on Highway G. They say Shaun Ciokiewicz and another man got into an argument over a vehicle and began to fight in the bar, but were pulled away by bar patrons. When the man went to leave, Ciokiewicz threw an object at the man’s truck. When the man got out of the vehicle to check if there was damage, Ciokiewicz struck the man from behind and hit him several times after he fell. He then felt excruciating pain in his right ear. The man had to have stitches in his ear.
Ciokiewicz is being charged with mayhem, substantial battery, bail jumping and disorderly conduct. During his arraignment on Tuesday, he entered a not guilty plea to the charges against him. He’s scheduled to be back in court on May 3rd.
