Snowmobile Trails Maintained by Neillsville/Granton Trailbusters Closed

Thursday, March 14th, 2019 -- 9:17 AM

-Effective immediately, all trails maintained by the Neillsville/Granton Trailbusters are closed due to off trail activity.

All other designated Snowmobile and ATV trails located within Clark County will remain open at this time. Users should be aware that traffic during warmer periods will damage the trail base and potentially shorten the riding season. The Clark County Forestry and Parks Department asks that users try to refrain from using the trails during these warmer periods to preserve them for colder temperatures. Area trails will remain open until conditions do not allow for their continued use. At that point, the trails will close for the season. Trails cannot remain open beyond April 1st of any calendar year as the annual landowner user agreements expire on this date.

Please note that UTV’s are not allowed on the Clark County Trails system during the winter months, November 1st-May 14th. Clark County trails are subject to periodic closure; for updates on recent closures and/or openings please contact the Forestry and Parks Department at 715-743-5140, or visit the county website at www.co.clark.wi.us for more information on our trail system.

Feel free to contact us with questions and/or comments.
