Former House Speaker Believes Some Democrats Can Defeat the President

(WRN) -Former House Speaker Paul Ryan says he believes there are some Democrats who could defeat President Donald Trump.During a Monday night speech in Vero Beach, Florida, Ryan said (quote) "The person who defines that race is going to win the race. If this is about Donald Trump and his personality, he isn’t going to win it." The speech was one of Ryan's first public appearances since leaving Washington.
The Janesville Republican served as Speaker from 2015 until January when he retired. He was also the 2012 Republican nominee for vice president.
