Marshfield Clinic Health System YMCA Now Open

-Marshfield and surrounding communities are about to get healthier in mind, body and spirit.After years of planning and months of construction, phase two of the YMCA expansion and renovation project is complete. The YMCA Board of Directors and staff are thrilled to announce that the new Marshfield Clinic Health System YMCA at 410 West McMillan Street is now open. The newly constructed state-of-the-art facility includes a Healthy Living Center (with 24/7) access, Strength Training Center, Multi-Generational Community Room, Welcome Center, and Member Lounge. Many areas of the existing Y were renovated as part of the project including group exercise rooms, the Child Watch area and Youth & Family Lounge. Grateful that a large portion of the project was done ahead of schedule, contractors are still hard at work in the Roehl Fieldhouse installing a very complex wood gym floor and walking/running track.
Expected opening of the Roehl Fieldhouse is late April. The Y encourages members of the community to tour the facility, speak with staff and sign up to become a Y member. The Marshfield Clinic Health System YMCA is opening thanks to numerous donations from community businesses, foundations, families and individuals.
