Clark County Aging and Disability Resource Center Assiting Older Adults with Homestead Credit Applications

-The Aging & Disability Resource Center of Clark County will assist older adults age 60 and over with Homestead Credit Applications.You must have documentation of all income received- 1099’s for Social Security, interest & dividend income, pension & annuity income, wages, etc. and a copy of your property taxes or completed Rent Certificate, if you rent. If you filed last year, bring a copy of your return. In addition, AARP Tax Aid Counselors will be available to assist older adults with simple income tax applications, no farm or business. Assistance with income tax is only available at the ADRC Office. You must schedule an appoint to have your income tax completed. Call toll free at 1-800-743-5144 or local at 715-743-5144.
Refer to the February ADRC newsletter for complete details of information you need to bring. Customers are served on a first come, first serve basis. The next handful of dates for application assistance are Wednesday, March 13th at the Dorchester Apartments at 11am and 11:45am, Thursday, March 14th at the Granton Senior Citizens Center at 11:15am and Wednesday, March 20th at the Owen Senior Center at 10:30am.
