Spencer Student Receives FFA Leadership Conference Scholarship

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Fifteen Wisconsin FFA members have been selected to receive $450 scholarships for the 2019 Washington Leadership Conferences held in Washington D.C. this summer.The funds were donated by the Wisconsin FFA Alumni Association. A local recipient of the scholarship includes Cortney Zimmerman of Spencer. Each year, FFA members from all over the United States travel to Washington, D.C. to attend the WLC.
During the five-day event, attendees learn how to become effective leaders by teaching them to know their purpose, value people, take action, and serve others.
