Woman Arrested in Osseo for Possession Appears in Trempealeau County Court

-One of two people arrested for possession in the City of Osseo after the execution of a search warrant appeared in Trempealeau County Court yesterday.According to the Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Department, they executed a search warrant at home in Osseo. They home was occupied by James Guntner and Kiera Whitman as well as a young child. A search of the residence found over 3 grams of heroin, marijuana, drug packaging material and other items. It was determined that the two were selling drug out of their home, which is 500 feet from school grounds.
Guntner and Whitman were arrested and are facing charges of possession, child neglect and maintaining a drug trafficking house. The child was removed from the home. During Whitman’s court appearance on Tuesday, she waived her preliminary hearing and entered a not guilty plea to the charges against her. She’s scheduled to be back in court on March 18th.
