Neillsville Man Enters Plea for Possession Charge

-A Neillsville man arrested after the execution of a search warrant entered a plea in Clark County Court on Thursday.Back in February of 2018, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Neillsville Police Department executed a search warrant at 111 E. 1st Street in the City of Neillsville. Drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as a hand grenade, were discovered in the home. Four children, ages 2, 9, 10 and 13, were removed from the residence by Clark County Social Services. Two dogs were also removed from the residence and taken to the Clark County Humane Society. Two adults, Robert Bounds and Savanna Bounds, were arrested as a result of the search warrant. During his court appearance on Thursday, Robert pleaded guilty to possession with intent-THC. Three other charges were dismissed and read in.
A pre-sentencing investigation was ordered he’s scheduled to be sentenced on May 6th. Back in February, Savanna was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession of THC. Two other charges were dismissed and read in. A deferred agreement for 12 months was agreed upon, meaning that if she has no violation during that time, the charge will be amended and she’ll pay costs. If not, she’ll be sentenced further.
