Clark County Woman Enters Plea for Failing to Provide Food for Animals

-A Clark County woman charged after multiple dogs were found dead on her property appeared in Clark County Court on Thursday.Marianne Harris is facing 12 counts of failing to supply sufficient food to multiple dogs on her property near Greenwood. When a Clark County Sheriff’s Deputy investigated her property, he found four puppies and five dogs in the woods. Two other dogs were dead in a shed. The dead dogs were malnourished and one was frozen to its kennel.
During her court appearance on Thursday, Harris was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, two counts of failing to provide food for an animal. 10 other charges were dismissed and read in. She’s scheduled for a restitution hearing on March 19th.
